Job description
Our Customer is a Silicon Valley- based company that is engaged in researching emerging technologies.
We are seeking a contract Senior Technical Sourcer to partner closely with engineering teams and build a strong candidate pipeline across a wide range of technical roles, including AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Data Science, and Robotics. This role will focus on sourcing, screening, and acting as a strategic consultant to Recruiters and Hiring Managers throughout the hiring process. This role is on-site in Mountain View, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute impactful sourcing strategies leveraging multi-channel searches and advanced techniques.
- Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates with a research-driven understanding of the industry.
- Partner with hiring teams to source, qualify, and align candidates with broader business needs.
- Promote the employer brand through creative outreach and advertising strategies to attract top talent.
- Track and report key conversion metrics, such as passive-to-active candidate ratios, interview invites, offers, and hires.
- Demonstrate diversity awareness and implement sourcing methods that reach a broad and inclusive pool of candidates.
- Maintain up-to-date market and business intelligence, aligning insights with hiring needs.
- Collaborate with recruiters, coordinators, and other team members to ensure efficient, high-quality recruitment processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sourcing experience within advanced technology organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proven track record of finding candidates via professional networks and platforms (LinkedIn, GitHub, Slack, etc.).
- Expertise in crafting and delivering compelling recruiting outreach.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers to determine role requirements.
- Experience sourcing for technology leadership roles, particularly in AI, GenAI, ML, and CV for Director-level and above.
- Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive both independently and in team settings.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Resilient and persistent, with a strong drive to succeed in challenging searches.
- Skilled at articulating the company story in a way that resonates with candidates’ motivations and career goals.
- Collaborative mindset: Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented: Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple searches simultaneously.
- Storytelling ability: Exceptional skill at positioning opportunities to align with candidates’ aspirations.
- Adaptability: Comfort operating in dynamic, fast-changing environments.
