Senior UX Researcher

About The Team

This role will support the Community squad on the Discover and Search initiative. This team is responsible for continuing Etsy's investment in learning about what kinds of product solutions are effective at fostering Human Connection among Etsy buyers and sellers.

The person in this role with partner closely with product, design, engineering and analytics partners to identify foundational and tactical learning opportunities to help the team make informed product decisions

Requirements - Must-Haves

• Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of a range of research approaches, balancing speed and precision, and a deep understanding of modern trends in Web and app design
• High comfort level building relationships across the business and co-creating strategies that consider customer and business implications
• Experience leading research at different parts of the product development process, from discovery to delivery
• Engaging storyteller and clear communicator, with the ability to hold your own in a meeting and persuade others to take action through a customer-centric lens
• Ambitious, meticulous, and able to balance multiple projects at a time
• Passionate about learning and problem solving that enables innovative approaches to finding solutions.
