Job description
Our Customer was founded in 1982 in an effort to create a solid accounting firm headed by native professionals. They later branched out to other services, which is now a multinational professional services network with offices in over 150 countries and territories around the world. With more than 100,000 professionals, they provide audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to a broad cross-section of the largest corporations and governmental agencies.
We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Senior UX Designer to lead end-to-end product design for GenAI-powered experiences, translating complex model capabilities into simple, trustworthy workflows. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science/ML, and Risk/Legal to deliver usable, accessible, and governable user experiences across web and/or enterprise platforms.
**A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design ownership and impact is required.**
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end UX for key AI product areas: discovery → definition → design → validation → launch → iteration
- Translate product strategy and model capabilities into clear user journeys, information architecture, and interaction patterns
- Design AI-specific experiences, including prompt and input patterns, outputs, citations, and provenance, feedback loops, error states, and safe fallback behaviors
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs within a scalable design system using shared components, patterns, and tokens
- Lead and partner on user research activities, including concept testing, usability studies, and diary studies
- Synthesize research insights into actionable design decisions
- Define, track, and evaluate UX success metrics such as task success, time-on-task, comprehension, trust, adoption, and deflection
- Collaborate closely with machine learning and engineering teams to align on model constraints, latency, confidence, and evaluation signals that impact user experience
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and enterprise requirements, including security, permissions, and auditability
- Contribute to and evolve the design system and content standards, including UX writing for AI experiences
- Manage and mentor UX designers, lead critiques, and elevate design quality through coaching and pragmatic craft standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- 6-10+ years of experience in UX or product design, delivering shipped digital products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design ownership and impact
- Proven experience designing complex, data-driven, or AI-powered user experiences
- Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders
- Experience designing enterprise or AI-enabled products
- Experience contributing to or leading design systems
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and compliance requirements
