Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.

We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. As a ServiceNow developer, you will be responsible for working to develop and design technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will provide application development and maintenance along with technical support by following the ServiceNow platform and web programming best practices. This role is a hybrid setup with 2 days remote and 3 days onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.

What You’ll do:

  • Configuration/Coding which includes UI changes, Workflows, Reports, data Imports, Integrations, scripting, and custom application development
  • Develop Service Request process flow respective to User requirements by utilizing Service Catalog, Workflow, Events, and Notifications
  • Develop reusable utilities to maintain low-code
  • Develop a Service Portal according to the user requirements for custom applications utilizing ServiceNow Platform tools/modules
  • Responsible for developing the ServiceNow applications which include automation of processes, customizations, Integrations (SOAP/REST), scheduled events, Server-side/Client-side scripting, and AngularJS to meet the Business requirements
  • Create and maintain system technical design and specifications documentation.
  • Set up reports using the advanced report and performance analytics module in the ServiceNow Platform
  • Analyze and fully understand user requirements and current procedures to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows, and address scheduling limitations throughout the development and delivery of the ServiceNow roadmap
  • Perform system and integration testing by providing test data for respective scenarios developed
  • Provide support to Analysts on the technical feasibilities or data

Must Haves:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer
  • Strong experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, Bootstrap, and good web design practices
  • Strong experience in Glide Script, Rest, and SOAP Web Services
  • Knowledge of Active Directory & SSO Multi-Factor Authentication
  • Knowledge of integrating with internal and external applications and systems
  • Proven track record in ITSM, HRSD, Performance Analytics, App-Engine for Scoped Applications, ITBM, Service Portal technologies
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and processing (Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to successfully design, develop, and support web-based applications and websites
  • Ability to work on multiple overlapping projects
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • ServiceNow Admin and Developer certification preferred

Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role is a hybrid setup with 2 days remote and 3 days onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.
