What you’ll do:

The Mom Project (TMP) is excited to find a motivated Site Reliability Engineer passionate about building a stable and scalable product. As an early member of the Infrastructure team, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure (AWS) used by our applications. Our goal is to develop and support the systems and automations that drive our business-critical platform, ensuring high uptime and quality deployments, while maintaining operational flexibility.

The skills and qualities you’ll need to succeed:

  • 2+ years of experience using cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and some experience working specifically with AWS
  • A strong foundation in security from a software, systems, and network standpoint
  • Experienced the tradeoffs in various solutions to common software platform problems, with specific acumen for performance and security
  • Regularly led and collaborated with cross-functional teams of engineers organized around a particular goal
  • Humility and a desire to take input and learn from anyone on the team
