We are seeking a B2B Social Content Creator on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote.

Reporting to the VP, Social & Content Strategy, this new social media role will facilitate an “Always On” day-to-day execution of content creation, with support for social performance analytics and community management for the social media accounts. This role will also have a meaningful impact on the public-facing perception of the brand, driving audience awareness, consideration, and engagement through thoughtful and relevant social media brand activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with social and content leadership to inform content needs and execution
  • Independently manage social content projects from concept through publishing
  • Produce consumer-facing social content, including video, graphics, static assets, and social-optimized copywriting, with channel-specific hashtag strategies
  • Review published social content to identify and resolve errors or publishing issues
  • Monitor daily social performance metrics to inform content strategy and optimization
  • Support the development of social analytics reporting processes and systems
  • Monitor and manage community engagement across social comments, direct messages, and brand-related social listening streams
  • Respond to consumer feedback on owned social media channels using approved brand voice and tone
  • Monitor competitive landscape and relevant market trends
  • Partner with internal teams to stay aligned on product updates, seasonal messaging, and marketing initiatives
  • Provide strategic content recommendations to drive engagement and acquisition
  • Execute social strategy direction related to voice, tone, and tactical approach

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of consumer-facing (B2C) social media content creation and analytics experience, including social-optimized copywriting to go along with video, graphic, and static posts.
  • B2B marketing experience with demonstrated ability to create content aligned to business objectives
  • Proven experience creating social-optimized copy alongside video, graphic, and static content
  • Demonstrated experience using social media platforms for brand engagement and growth
  • Hands-on experience leveraging content creation tools such as Canva and Adobe Express
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends and platform-specific best practices
  • Ability to balance real-time content creation with pre-planned content calendars
  • Experience producing, editing, and capturing video and photography for social platforms
  • Experience sourcing and working with stock video and photography assets
  • Strong command of grammar and written communication
  • Clear understanding of how social copywriting differs from traditional marketing copywriting
  • Experience in repurposing and upcycling existing video and photography content
  • Strong project management, organizational, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience responding to consumers on social media using a defined brand voice and tone
  • Experience developing social content amplification strategies and editorial calendars
  • Familiarity with paid social media, ad management, and audience development
  • Ability to make strategic recommendations based on historical performance data, benchmarks, and industry trends
