Our client is on a mission to inspire creative, eco-friendly play for children aged 3-8. As a bold and innovative toy company, they focus on imaginative play, play-based learning, and sustainable design. They are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Social Media Team Members to join remote team and help showcase the joy our products bring to kids and families.
As a member of the Social Media team, you will play a key role in expanding online presence and creating engaging content that resonates with parents, caregivers, and educators. You’ll assist in managing social media platforms, help execute campaigns and conversations, and collaborate with our creative team to highlight our toys in action.
Access to children aged 3-8 years old (or a network that includes them) is ideal, as much of the content will involve showcasing kids and families. A main goal is to capture authentic content of kids and families interacting with the toys.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Film high-quality, engaging videos and images featuring kids and families using Playper toys for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
- Campaign Development: Work with our Director of Marketing to execute creative social media campaigns to build brand awareness and drive engagement, particularly among parents of young children.
- Community Management: Foster a vibrant online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and thoughtfully.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track social media performance metrics, analyze data, and make informed recommendations to optimize engagement and growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and creative teams to align social media efforts with overall brand goals and product launches.
- Trends & Innovation: Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices, with a focus on content that appeals to parents and caregivers.
Qualifications
- Content Creation Skills: Proficiency in shooting and editing short-form video content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms for content creation.
- Strong Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a warm, friendly tone.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects remotely.
- Passion for Play: A genuine interest in children’s education, creative play, and sustainability.
