1099 Contract – 3-month initial term
Classical Music Agency looking for Social Media Assistant!
We represent conductors, vocalists and ensembles in classical music, many with a focus on historically informed performance. Our artists are acclaimed worldwide for their work with leading orchestras, opera companies, and performing arts organizations.
This role will coordinate and execute our social media marketing to promote the artists on the roster and, secondarily, the agency.
Content management
Create and publish content for Instagram and Facebook
Create and publish Email newsletters, in cooperation with our existing graphic designer.
Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, email, and website)
Create and maintain an editorial calendar.
Qualifications/skills
2-5 years proven experience working with social media and digital marketing on behalf of businesses.
Familiarity with Squarespace, Notion, Dropbox, Soundcloud, YouTube, Vimeo, Campaign Monitor/Mailchimp preferred
Deadline and detail oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Goal-oriented, self-directed and self-motivated within a team environment
Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about classical music
This is a three-month contract to start, with performance to be evaluated at that time for possible expansion of hours and responsibilities.
