Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.


We are seeking a Social Media Content & Channel Specialist on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid (purposeful on-site) in Sunnyvale, CA.


We are looking for a Social Media Content & Channel Specialist to join the global social media team. The global social team is responsible for social strategies, storytelling, and content that surface the company's unique value on social media channels. This role sits within the Global Brand and Creative team—a multidisciplinary group comprised of design, writing, strategy, production, social, web, and project management. This is an exciting role with significant visibility and an opportunity to further define strategies, best practices for the global social media capability. Reporting to the Senior Group Manager, Social Media-Digital Marketing, you will contribute to the content creation and strategy for social media. As a member of the Brand & Creative team and the larger Corporate Marketing group, you will work cross-functionally to define and deliver meaningful, measurable business impact to internal and external stakeholders worldwide. The successful candidate will bring expertise in social media channels and community management. The role requires a minimum of 5+ years of increasing responsibility in social media for a brand or agency in a regulated industry; medical device experience preferred.


**A portfolio showcasing relevant content strategy work is required.**


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies and content that aligns with overall marketing and brand objectives
  • Create and manage editorial calendars, including content themes, campaign timelines, and post schedules across platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, X, and YouTube)
  • Leverage analytics to assess content performance, audience behaviors, and engagement trends across owned and earned
  • Establish the global community management function, brand voice, and engagement model to build brand loyalty and enhance the customer experience
  • Monitor posts by key opinion leaders (KOLs) and coordinate with regional marketers as necessary
  • Required Skills and Experience


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of increasing responsibility in social media content creation for a brand or agency in a regulated industry; medical device experience preferred. A portfolio showcasing relevant content strategy work is required
  • Minimum 3+ years of data and analytics background and a keen ability to understand customer data and know how to convert insights into purposeful actions to meet business needs using data and Excel. Experience with Google Analytics 4, Python, R, and Sprinklr is a plus
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities tailored to each platform and audience
  • Proven experience in the utilization of design and SaaS tools (Ex: Adobe Creative Cloud, HootSuite, Sprinklr, Sprout)
  • Proven ability to solve open-ended problems and work cross-functionally towards shared goals
  • Able to pivot between long-term projects and short-term needs, with manager support, based on shifting priorities in a growing organization
  • A desire and ability to understand complex medical systems and the needs of the individuals and groups that work inside and are adjacent to them
  • Demonstrable experience negotiating and creating processes enabling end-to-end social media workflows in a Jira and Agile/Scrum environment
  • Ability to travel up to 15%. International and domestic USA
