As a Public Benefit Corporation, we empower local artists and support mountain town communities through our weekly product drops. Each design supports a local nonprofit chosen by the artist, with proceeds benefiting both the artist and community causes focused on youth enrichment, arts, or environmental sustainability.

The Role
We're seeking an experienced social media and email marketing contractor to manage our Instagram presence and weekly email campaigns in Klaviyo. You'll be the voice of our brand across digital channels, connecting with outdoor enthusiasts and mountain town lovers aged 14-50 who live all around the world but share a passion for places like Truckee, Mammoth, Alta, Park City, Aspen, Whistler, and Jackson Hole.
Key Responsibilities:
Instagram Management (60% of role):
- Create and publish engaging Instagram Reels, Posts, and Stories that showcase our weekly product drops
- Source, edit, and repurpose content from our extensive photo bank and partner network
- Actively reach out to our local artists and nonprofit partners to gather behind-the-scenes photos, videos, and stories
- Transform raw content into compelling posts that tell authentic stories about artists, their communities, and supported causes
- Develop creative concepts that showcase products in action within mountain town settings
- Edit photos and videos to maintain consistent brand aesthetic while highlighting authenticity
- Engage with our community through comments, DMs, and interactive Stories
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategy
Email Marketing (40% of role):
- Design and execute weekly email campaigns in Klaviyo for product drops
- Create compelling subject lines and copy that drive opens and conversions
- Build basic email flows for new subscribers and post-purchase follow-ups
- Coordinate email timing with Instagram content for maximum impact
- A/B test subject lines and send times to improve performance
Content Asset Management:
- Proactively request and collect photo/video content from artists and nonprofit partners
- Maintain organized content library with proper attribution and usage rights
- Create content calendars that strategically incorporate partner-sourced materials
- Develop relationships with artists and nonprofits to ensure steady content flow
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years managing Instagram for consumer brands with demonstrated growth results
- Proven expertise in Instagram Reels, Posts, and Stories creation
- Strong photo and video editing skills (mobile and desktop editing platforms)
- Deep understanding and genuine appreciation for mountain town culture and outdoor lifestyle
- Experience with email marketing platforms (CRM experience helpful but not required)
- Excellent communication skills for partner outreach and relationship building
- Self-directed with excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently within established brand guidelines
- Experience working with user-generated content and partner collaborations
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with outdoor, lifestyle, or apparel brands
- Familiarity with Shopify ecosystem
- Experience marketing mission-driven or socially conscious brands
- Understanding of conversion optimization and e-commerce metrics
