Job description
Title: Social Media Executive
Location: 100% Remote - must be able to commute into NYC for client meetings as needed (ideally you sit within an hour's commute into the city)
Hourly Range: $20 - $25/hr, commensurate with experience
Status: ~ 25 hrs/wk, ongoing 1099 contract
Our client is a full service digital marketing agency, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing effective social media strategies, lead engaging campaigns, and ensure that all client's needs are met.
As a key player, you should have an understanding of both social and digital marketing and advertising, and how to seamlessly incorporate strategies into a comprehensive campaign. In this role, you'll be assisting the account lead in managing content projects, gathering necessary information, and collaborating with agency departments to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
As the Part Time Account Executive, Social Media you will develop an in-depth understanding of clients' business to deliver campaigns that will achieve their individual business objectives - while also creatively and strategically adapting new innovative ideas to remain current with the ever changing digital landscapes. In addition, you serve as the internal orchestrator, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among all agency departments to deliver projects in alignment with strategy and on schedule.

- Energy, enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize and get things done
- Must be able to commute to New York City for client meetings as needed
Core Responsibilities
The specific details of this role will vary, but common activities include:
- Regular communication and liaison with clients in support of account leads who are acting as the main client communicators to obtain information required to initiate and progress projects
- Develop tailored social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives and target audience demographics
- Manage and optimize the social marketing strategy for key agency accounts
- Manage key agency accounts Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X accounts, etc.
- Build social content calendar and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
- Prepare briefs, brief the internal team, and review to ensure all work aligns with strategy before presenting to clients
- Develop brand voice and tone for key accounts for copy as it relates to social media, community management, email marketing, and web marketing
- Comfortably liaise with clients for on-location shoots, using an iPhone to capture content in line with project requirements
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the data
- Assist with scheduling and publishing process for content outputs
- Support other projects as assigned by leadership
