Job description
Title: Social Media Manager
Location: 100% Remote
Hours: ~ 9 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $25 - $50/hr, commensurate with industry-relevant experience
Status: 3 months to start, with the expectation to be ongoing if mutually agreed upon
Our client is a former Hell's Kitchen winner with a F&B Group of out the Washington, DC area. They are looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team. The Social Media Manager will coordinate and execute the company’s social media marketing and advertising for their bar and restaurant.
The ideal candidate has a background in working with Food & Beverage and/or Hospitality.
Content management duties
- Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels and ads)
- Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising
- Leverage the right tools to manage your content
- Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns
- Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing)
- Manage or oversee all social advertising campaigns
Core marketing responsibilities
- SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic
- Marketing plan development
- Social media content creation
Qualifications/Skills
- BS in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field
- 4 years proven experience working with social media
- Goal oriented, self-directed and self-motivated within a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, marketing and communication skills
- Deadline and detail oriented
- Familiarity with Instagram and Facebook
