Part-Time Social Media Manager

  • Location: 100% Remote
  • 1099 Contractor
  • Average Hours: 10/wk - will be flexible based on the needs of the business
  • Hourly Range: $30-$35/hr


The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, an online wellness, coaching, and consulting service with a mission to empower individuals not only to survive, but to thrive, in the face of grief and trauma. We help people live with death.


They are looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team. The Social Media Manager will coordinate and execute the company’s social media marketing and advertising. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers.

Content management duties

  • Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all channels and ads)
  • Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising
  • Leverage the right tools to manage your content
  • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns
  • Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing)
  • Manage or oversee all social advertising campaigns

Core marketing responsibilities

  • SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic
  • Marketing plan development
  • Social media content creation

Qualifications/Skills

  • BS in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field
  • 2+ years proven experience working with social media
  • Goal oriented, self-directed and self-motivated within a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, marketing and communication skills
  • Deadline and detail oriented
  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Kajabi
  • Personal experience with death/grief
  • Strong sense of self-awareness
