Job description
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a monthly social media content calendar across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Create engaging, on-brand content including photos, short-form videos, reels, and stories
- Schedule and publish posts consistently using social media management tools
- Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions; engage with our community in a timely, warm manner
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and share a brief monthly report
- Stay on top of trending sounds, formats, and platform changes to keep our content fresh
- Collaborate with the team on product launches, promotions, and campaigns
Qualifications/Skills
- Active, enthusiastic social media user with a strong personal understanding of current trends
- Hands-on experience managing social accounts (personal, brand, or freelance all count!)
- Comfortable on camera and skilled at creating short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories)
- Basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, Figma, CapCut, or similar tools)
- Strong written communication skills with a warm, engaging voice
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to meet deadlines independently
- Familiarity with social analytics and a curiosity for what the numbers mean
- Bonus points if you have young kids at home and are excited to create family-friendly, authentic content with them
