Senior UI/UX Designer (100% Remote)

Our customer is seeking a contract Senior UI/UX Designer to help support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Take complex, conceptual ideas and turn them into design artifacts (mocks, prototypes, slide decks) that are simple, well-crafted, and valuable for inspiring and aligning the internal product teams and leadership.
• Design easy-to-understand, end-to-end flows and use the appropriate design systems and prototyping tools to establish a product vision to present to client.
• Partner with cross-functional partners directly to make progress on work independently.
• Travel may be required within US.

Qualifications:

• 10+ Years of Design Experience

  • Extensive experience in product design, preferably in both hardware and software domains.

• High Craft Bar in Design

  • Ability to create simple, delightful experiences with strong attention to visual/interaction details.

• Interest/Experience in Wearables or AI

  • Knowledge or passion for designing at the intersection of hardware and software for emerging technologies.

• 3D Design/Prototyping Skills (highly desired)

  • Experience with tools like Unity, After Effects, Blender, and potentially working with prototypes in AR/VR contexts.

• Prototyping Skills

  • Expertise in bringing ideas to life using design systems and prototyping tools (2D and potentially 3D).

• Efficient and Generative

  • Ability to produce a large volume of high-quality design work in a short period.

• Adaptability in a Fast-Paced, Ambiguous Environment

  • Comfortable working independently in complex, evolving problem spaces.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Experience partnering with multiple teams (hardware, software, AI) to align and inspire stakeholders.
