Job description
Our Customer is a leading global, diversified information, services and media company with more than 360 businesses. Its major interests include various financial services, medical information and services businesses, and lastly, ownership in cable television networks; 33 television stations; 24 daily and 52 weekly newspapers; digital services businesses; and nearly 250 magazines around the world.
Our Customer is seeking a Software Development Engineer on a contract basis to join their L2 support team. This role is on-site in South San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop APIs and microservices to support content platform integrations.
- Deploy and maintain secure, scalable cloud-based services.
- Integrate APIs with internal services and external customer systems, including payer, provider, and partner platforms.
- Improve integration efficiency by reducing implementation time and effort for connected systems.
- Support application teams by enhancing delivery efficiency through reusable services and scalable architecture.
- Ensure services are secure, reliable, and optimized for cloud-scale performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
- BS/BA preferred
- Related experience required
