Job description

We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Software Engineer on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This engineer will be independently capable and a team player. The candidate is highly proficient in Informatica ETL and Python. This person will have a strong understanding of relational databases and have experience with PL/SQL and/or DB2. They will have experience with complex XML mappings. Have experience building scheduling jobs via AutoSys. Work with logical, physical, conceptual, Snowflake schema data models. Preferably experience with data analysis using Apache Hive and Spark. They will also be proficient in DevOps and be able to develop, build, deploy, and test their code. They will be proficient in cloud engineering preferably with AWS technologies.

- Demand and Supply management is building next generation applications for the optimization of retail.
- Our state of the art and user-friendly applications will be used for optimizing price planning to deliver informed decisions to our retail planners and provide value to our customers.
- We value the importance of teamwork and sport.
- As a software engineer in retail price optimization, you will deliver solutions that enable informed pricing decisions, help stores reach financial goals and give more value to consumers.
- You will also play a key role in Company's Digital Transformation initiative to help deliver efficient data access, reliable data warehousing platforms, and reduced risk.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Knowledge in Informatica
- Knowledge in Python
- Knowledge in ETL
- Knowledge in Oracle DB2
- Knowledge in AutoSys
- Experience in PL/SQL
- Knowledge in Airflow
- Knowledge in Apache Spark
- Experience in Apache Hive
- Knowledge in AWS
- Experience in Agile – Scrum
Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s Beaverton, OR location once it is deemed safe to do so.
