Job description
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and support migration from QuickBooks Online to Sage Accounting, including data extraction, mapping, and validation
- Clean, standardize, and import financial data (chart of accounts, transactions, vendors, customers) into Sage
- Reconcile migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness across systems
- Assist in implementation of client management system and migration of client records into WealthHub
- Organize and structure client data, documents, and workflows within WealthHub
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improved processes for accounting and client management workflows
- Collaborate with internal team to define system requirements and ensure smooth transition
- Create SOPs and documentation for ongoing use of Sage and WealthHub
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and system issues during implementation
- Provide light training and support to team members post-implementation
Qualifications/Skills
- Software Implementation experience
- Experience with accounting system migrations (QuickBooks → Sage strongly preferred)
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with Sage Accounting or similar ERP/accounting platforms
- Experience with CRM or client management system implementations (WealthHub experience a plus)
- Advanced Excel skills (data cleanup, mapping, validation, large dataset handling)
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (GL, reconciliations, financial reporting)
- High attention to detail with ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Prior experience working with professional services firms (CPA, fiduciary, wealth management) preferred
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with stakeholders
