Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a ServiceNow (HRSD) Solution Architect on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid (onsite 3 days a week) in Sunnyvale, CA.
As a ServiceNow Solution Architect (HR) you will be responsible for developing a strong understanding between the business needs of the customer and how the ServiceNow application will support those needs. You will be a part of the design team on the project and will assist in directing the ServiceNow implementation and certifying the solution design of strategic technologies during solution development. This role will build and drive high performing relationships with customers and other stakeholders within team to ensure high quality delivery of all aspects of solution development.
Responsibilities:
- Gaining full understanding of the customer’s current business processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to capture and document a comprehensive set of business requirements.
- Execute FIT/GAP workshops and define target process designs aligned with ServiceNow HRSD capabilities.
- Configure the ServiceNow HRSD application to achieve the client’s business requirements.
- Create the functional designs and collaborate with the technical (offshore) team for any gaps (interfaces, custom development …) that should be solved.
- Write test scenarios and execute functional testing.
- Assist in integration testing.
- Support customers during UAT.
- Create training material and conduct training of customers.
- Assist with the architectural design and impact analysis for (new) requirements.
- Assist with estimation and planning of project activities.
- Stay up to date with the latest capabilities, functions and features in ServiceNow HRSD and spread this knowledge with the team.
- Contribute to building and implementing technical best practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience, and you have been involved in multiple ServiceNow implementation projects as a ServiceNow application consultant
- Consulting experience in gathering requirements, creating user stories, conducting demos, mapping customer’s HR processes to ServiceNow HRSD capabilities and specific HR modules within HRSD and sharing best practices from past projects on how other clients have met the HR challenges using ServiceNow HRSD module
- Experience in leading Client workshops with customers across HR business units
- Experience implementing the following HRSD components: Case, HR Services, Knowledge, EDM, Employee Relations, Lifecycle events (onboarding and offboarding), Notifications, Surveys, Reports and Dashboards
- Ability to listen, interpret, strategize and consult on HR processes and map them to HRSD capabilities and solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated customer centric approach to work
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills
- You can work independently, as well as in project teams and take ownership and responsibility
Preferred:
- Proficient in Employee Service Center
- You are CIS-ServiceNow HRSD certified or are willing to achieve this certification soon
- Other ServiceNow certifications are a plus
