Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Specialist, People Services on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. As a member of the Regional People Services team, the People Services Specialist will play a key role in supporting Human Resources (HR) programs and policies, processes, and systems to ensure that HR service delivery is timely, efficient, and compliant. They will provide world-class customer service for HR second-level tier support. This role will work collaboratively by building strong relationships that foster trust and accountability across the organization in support of the company mission, vision, and core values. This will be achieved by resolving timely and accurate questions related to employment policies, programs, and processes. The candidate in this role will act as an escalation point and liaison for the resolution of more complex cases. This role is onsite/hybrid in Norcross, GA.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized support and best practices that span the employee life cycle, recruitment support, case management, talent management, policy development, and implementation
- Analyze and answer complex or reassigned HR inquiries
- Take initiative and actions to propose updates to procedures and services based on lessons learnt
- Liaise and coordinate support from and escalation to other Subject Matter Experts (SME)/Tier 3 e.g., local HR Business Leaders (HRBLs), Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and Center of Expertise (CoE) for collaborative case management
- Build and maintain effective relationships with other functions to deliver customer-centric HR services
- Contribute to annual/recurring HR programs including performance and compensation planning and talent planning/development initiatives
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience in HR employee life cycle, HR compliance, and service delivery, in a multicultural environment
- 3+ years of experience in HR Shared Services and improvement in HR service delivery
- Strong knowledge of US labor laws
- HR process/ compensation/ job leveling experience required.
- Excellent customer service and service quality improvement skills
- Experience with ServiceNow required.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- HR Certification
Hours & Location:
- M-F, 40 hours/week. This role is onsite/hybrid at our Customer's location in Norcross, GA.
