Job description

Founded in 1999 in Chicago, IL, our Customer is a limited liability partnership and the U.S. member firm of a global network of independent audit, tax, and consulting firms.


We are seeking a Tax Engagement Support Services Specialist on a contract basis to support our customer's business needs. This role is on-site in any of the following locations: Davenport, IA, Phoenix, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, Denver, CO, or Salt Lake City, UT.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assembly, scanning, e-filing, workflow entry, reporting, and due date tracking. May also perform general administrative duties to support the line of business as required. This position will focus on returns going out in paper format – so printing paper returns, assembling them, and packaging for delivery to external clients.



Responsibilities:

  • Print and assemble tax returns using firm software tools and route sheet instructions within the workflow system
  • Ensure all required client deliverables are accurately included and saved in the document management system
  • Support tax organizers, scanning of client workpapers, and tax return delivery as applicable
  • Track due dates and assist with new client setup
  • Meet client expectations for timeliness, responsiveness, accuracy, and service quality
  • Perform additional administrative or operational duties as assigned


Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0–3 years of related administrative, tax, or professional services experience
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
