Job description

Job Title: Sponsorship Sales Representative

About Us:
We produce high-energy, boutique expos and networking events that connect engaged couples, families, and women in business with top-tier vendors and brands. Our events are known for their creativity, professionalism, and ability to deliver results for sponsors and exhibitors.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a driven and personable Sponsorship Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of sponsorships and premium partnerships for our expos. The ideal candidate is motivated by building relationships, thrives on consultative selling, and can confidently communicate the value of sponsorship opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, research, and prospect potential sponsors and partners across relevant industries
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective sponsors
  • Present customized sponsorship packages that align with client goals
  • Negotiate and close sponsorship deals to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Collaborate with the marketing and events team to ensure sponsor deliverables are met
  • Track sales activities, leads, and contracts using CRM or reporting tools
  • Represent the company at events to engage sponsors and cultivate long-term partnerships

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management (event or media sales a plus)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales goals
  • Creative thinker who can align sponsorship opportunities with client marketing objectives
  • Comfortable presenting to business owners and decision-makers
  • Passion for events, community engagement, and helping businesses grow through exposure

Compensation:

  • Base pay + commission structure (or commission-only, depending on arrangement)
  • Flexible schedule with remote work options
  • Opportunity for growth within a fast-growing events company

Why Join Us:
You’ll play a key role in driving revenue while helping brands connect meaningfully with their target audience. If you are motivated, enthusiastic, and enjoy building win-win partnerships, this role offers both flexibility and the chance to make a big impact.

All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.

If you are a person with a disability needing assistance with the application, or at any point in the hiring process, please contact us at support@themomproject.com.

Screening Questions

  • Tell me about your experience selling sponsorships, advertising, or event partnerships.
  • How would you explain the value of sponsoring one of our expos to a small business that has never done it before?
  • This role involves prospecting and outreach — how comfortable are you with cold calls, cold emails, and follow-ups?
