  • Engage internal stakeholders and subject matter experts across policy, legal, and integrity teams to build consensus on compliance frameworks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across policy, product, legal, and operational units to align workstreams, manage strategic priorities, and track progress against regulatory objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Human Rights, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in public policy or public institutions, including regulatory authorities, legislative bodies, think tanks, non-governmental organizations, or advocacy groups.
  • Demonstrated expertise in policy areas related to internet technologies, data privacy, security, user safety, and content moderation, with an emphasis on content regulation and freedom of expression.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and policy advocacy, with strong written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and programs across domestic or international jurisdictions.
  • Excellent discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive issues and confidential information.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Policy and Legislative Analysis: Minimum of 7 years of experience in public policy, addressing both U.S. and global issues, with a preference for government or congressional experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Negotiation: Strong ability to collaborate across product, engineering, risk, and other teams, with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Global Compliance and Problem-Solving: Experience supporting global compliance initiatives, identifying potential risks, resolving complex issues, and recognizing when escalation is necessary.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Government or Congressional Experience: Previous experience working in government, congressional offices, or related public policy environments.
  • Prior organization Experience: Previous employment with our customer, particularly in a public policy or regulatory-related role.
  • International Experience: Experience working on global or international policy matters, including navigating regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
