Job description

Are you a talented content writer (preferably with a background in eCommerce) with a passion for innovation? Join our dynamic team as a Senior Content Writer, where you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling copy for blogs, social media, emails, enhanced content, paid ads, and product detail pages (PDPs), and so much more. In addition to your exceptional content creation skills, you will take on a unique responsibility—launching and training our new AI content platform. As the driving force behind our AI integration efforts, you will be instrumental in writing and editing AI prompts to enhance the efficiency and creativity of our content creation process. This position requires a high level of creativity and a proven track record of producing SEO optimized content that increases engagement and drives sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Writing: Craft engaging and informative copy for blogs, social media, emails, enhanced content, paid advertising, and product detail pages (PDPs), ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging. You will create content pieces that drive customer awareness and sales of our full mattress and furniture portfolio.
  • Editing: Proofread, edit and re-purpose content produced by other members of our team. Edit and refine AI-generated content to ensure quality, coherence, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • AI Prompt Writing and Editing: Generate creative and effective AI prompts to support the development of content across various channels.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for team members on the effective use of the AI content tool, sharing best practices and insights. Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI content creation and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure content meets strategic objectives and enhances user experiences. We are a diverse team based all over the world, you will provide support to our teams based in the United States, Korea, and China, as well as external creative agency partners.
  • SEO Optimization: Use SEO best practices to generate content that raises our online rankings and drives traffic to either our site or other 3rd party partner sites as required
  • Research: Research topics within our competitive landscape to write compelling, competitive content
  • Knowledge Base: Become our in-house expert in creating content that adheres to 3rd party retail partner guidelines. Document copywriting workflows and identify opportunities to create efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years' experience writing/editing/publishing content as part of an in-house marketing team, or advertising and/or digital agency
  • A portfolio that demonstrates proficiency in writing and editing content for blogs, emails, and product detail pages.
  • Strong understanding of AI content creation principles, with the ability to craft effective AI prompts.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • eCommerce retail experience a plus
