Our client is seeking an Sr. External Audit Contractor to lend specific subject matter knowledge around external audit engagements throughout the client's busy season. In the role you will

Work alongside the client colleagues and contribute to engagements in these and other focus areas: Technology, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Entertainment, Energy, Ecommerce and Retail sectors
Complete audit procedures and documentation for risk areas (e.g. revenue, financial instruments, and taxes)
Work in client engagements during transactions (e.g., initial public offering (IPO), business combination or debt offering)
Maintain productive working relationships with audit clients
Inform engagement leaders of audit engagement status

REQUIREMENTS

Former Seniors, Managers, Senior Managers
Previous experience with Top 25 CPA Firms
SEC Reporting (10-K, 10-Q), SOX 404 Testing, Walkthroughs, and Substantive Procedures
A degree in Accounting, finance or related field
Must have a minimum of 3 busy seasons
No more than 5-8 years removed from public accounting external audit role
3 + years of related work experience as an auditor in public accounting supporting commercial sector clients
U.S. Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license or sufficient coursework to achieve US CPA certification in the US in your state
Experience in supervising, planning, execution and reporting on audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with US GAAP and US GAAS
