Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Staffing/Employment Representative on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.
The Staffing/Employment Representative is responsible for developing, administering, and executing staffing and recruiting programs to meet business needs. This role partners closely with hiring managers to document job requirements, determine sourcing strategies, and build pipelines of qualified candidates. The representative will manage the end-to-end recruiting process, support employer branding, and ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to document requirements and open requisitions.
- Identify appropriate recruiting sources and manage job postings/advertising campaigns.
- Promote the company image to candidates and external partners to enhance the employer brand.
- Source and surface candidates while building networks to maintain a strong pipeline.
- Pre-screen resumes and evaluate the effectiveness of electronic candidate evaluation tools.
- Document candidate evaluation and interview processes.
- Negotiate, or support managers in negotiating, new hire compensation packages/offers.
- Conduct or coordinate employment background checks.
- Collaborate with agencies, recruiting contractors, and online platforms to support recruiting campaigns; provide performance feedback on recruiting agencies/sources.
- Support or develop programs in college recruiting, affirmative action, and career development.
- Manage immigration processes as needed, serving as liaison with immigration attorneys.
- At senior levels, specialize in technical recruiting or highly specialized executive searches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, staffing, or employment programs.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, recruitment tools, and candidate evaluation processes.
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Familiarity with employment laws, affirmative action, and immigration processes (a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
