We are seeking a Strategic Partner Manager on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is on-site in NYC, but could be remote for the right person (EST hours).
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage strategic partnerships, acting as the primary “quarterback” for complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key external partners and internal stakeholders
- Oversee the execution of partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with business goals and successful delivery
- Drive leadership and partner meetings, providing strategic recommendations, updates, and insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Policy, and Operations teams to support product launches and partner engagements
- Support go-to-market efforts and growth of AI Wearables products through partner collaboration
- Identify partner needs, opportunities, and pain points to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions
- Develop scalable workflows and processes (including AI-driven solutions) to improve partnership execution from deal to launch
- Analyze complex business challenges, propose solutions, and influence decision-making at leadership levels
- Manage risks, escalations, and partner issues while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment
- Identify opportunities to expand and grow partnerships beyond initial agreements
- Prepare executive-level materials and ensure readiness for high-visibility meetings, negotiations, and engagements
Skills and Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of experience in partner management, business development, or strategic partnerships within the technology or consumer electronics industries
- Proven experience managing complex partnerships and deal execution
- Strong business judgment with the ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and drive outcomes
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and coordinating multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of product launches and go-to-market strategies
- Ability to interpret contracts and collaborate with legal teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to operate in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to operate independently
- Strong relationship builder with executive presence
- Ability to balance short-term execution with long-term strategy
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and driving structured solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience in consumer electronics, wearables, or device partnerships
- Strong technical aptitude or interest in emerging technologies
- Experience in consulting or partner strategy roles
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across organizations
- Experience navigating and enforcing contractual agreements
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
