Our Customer is seeking a Strategic Sales Development Representative on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Support Platform sales initiatives focused on expanding merchant adoption of online ordering and growth solutions.
- Own the early stages of the sales process through high-volume outbound outreach and lead qualification activities.
- Identify, engage, and qualify high-potential merchants and key decision-makers across assigned accounts.
- Conduct outbound outreach through phone calls, email, and additional communication channels.
- Execute high-volume outreach activities, including 65+ calls per day.
- Partner closely with Account Development teams to advance qualified opportunities and pipeline growth.
- Tailor messaging and discovery conversations based on merchant needs, business context, and solution fit.
- Support merchant growth by positioning additional platform solutions beyond marketplace offerings.
- Strengthen consultative selling, discovery, and opportunity qualification processes.
- Build solution-selling skills and contribute to account development initiatives.
- Maintain organized sales activities and pipeline management within fast-paced sales environments.
- Participate in trainings, off-sites, team-building events, and business-related travel as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in high-volume outbound outreach or sales development.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and performance goals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage merchants in consultative and thoughtful business conversations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-directed and proactive approach to problem-solving and workload management.
- Creative outreach and messaging abilities that drive engagement and interest.
- Ability to communicate the value of the platform and growth solutions to merchants.
- Comfortable working within fast-paced sales environments and managing sales tools and processes.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with sales and account development teams.
- Experience supporting pipeline generation and sales qualification activities.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel for business-related events and collaboration activities.
