Job description

By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling our mission to grow and empower local economies.

We are seeking a Sourcing Business Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform contract analysis, they demonstrate understanding of key terms and conditions for contracts of increasing complexity
  • Proactively ask more strategic questions that we should address as a company, pulling in industry knowledge or background to advance policies/procedures
  • Guide stakeholders in making decisions by presenting various options and suggesting a path forward, recommending what the business should do (enabling the decision vs. strongly influencing it)

Must-Haves:
  • Has deeper understanding of how to formulate a desired position driving negotiations of increasing complexity through to completion
  • Trusted by all business partners to produce reliable analysis, and advise on procurement best practices
  • Ability to effectively represent Procurement in cross-functional meetings and provide impactful recommendations for all levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to thoughtfully design, execute and communicate analysis to stakeholders that is clear, logically sound and clearly illustrates the questions/topics at hand
  • Firm understanding of the broader Procure-to-Pay systems, policies and processes, allowing them to effectively guide stakeholders to an outcome
  • The additional responsibility of program management, leading a team and able to take on some sourcing projects as required
