We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote (Pacific Time Zone hours).



Responsibilities:

  • Direct and implement sourcing strategies aligned with corporate earnings, growth, and transformation objectives
  • Utilize market intelligence, pricing benchmarks, and industry data to connect product strategies with organizational goals
  • Drive a total cost of ownership (TCO) approach to ensure long-term value across stakeholders
  • Develop procurement, supply, and demand plans in collaboration with internal clients
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing lifecycle for assigned goods and services
  • Create Statements of Work (SOWs), clarify business requirements, and execute RFPs in advance of client needs
  • Lead supplier negotiations and develop procurement contracts to optimize value and minimize risk
  • Deliver continuous cost and quality improvements year over year
  • Recommend process optimizations supported by performance metrics
  • Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Manage supplier performance, assessments, and improvement plans
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior leadership


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, negotiation, supply chain, or financial roles
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage procurement operations and complex initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with emphasis on experience and innovation
  • High integrity and ethical standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a quantitative discipline
  • Demonstrated experience conducting RFPs, drafting SOWs, and managing procurement programs

Preferred:

  • 7 or more years of related experience
  • Experience focused on Professional Services categories and Corporate Sourcing environments
