Job description

Our Customer is a technology company that connects people with the best of their neighborhoods across the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany. They enable local businesses to meet consumers’ needs of ease and convenience, and, in turn, generate new ways for people to earn, work, and live. By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling their mission to grow and empower local economies.

We are seeking a Strategy and Operations Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.

This role plays a key part in managing and optimizing strategic partnerships that drive subscriber growth and engagement within a subscription business. The focus is on launching new features, executing campaigns, and supporting cross-functional initiatives that make the subscription program more valuable and engaging for members.

The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, is highly resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data while collaborating across multiple teams such as Marketing, Product, Operations, Analytics, and Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute experimentation design, execution, and analysis, including SQL queries and visualization tools (e.g., Sigma).
  • Summarize key findings and insights for cross-functional stakeholders and recommend next steps.
  • Launch and manage high-impact campaigns that improve subscriber engagement and retention.
  • Support partnership growth and lifecycle management by expanding offerings beyond the core subscription product.
  • Collaborate across multiple disciplines (strategy, operations, product, design, marketing, data science, engineering, finance, and legal) to drive initiatives forward.
  • Build workback schedules and deliver weekly reporting on metrics, experiment outcomes, and campaign performance.
  • Monitor experiment performance and proactively identify gaps or improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop enticing new benefits for subscribers.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets; experience with SQL strongly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to dive into the weeds to solve problems.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • Comfortable learning new technology platforms and adapting to evolving tools and processes.
  • Self-starter with a bias for action, able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and persuasively for both formal and casual contexts.
  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments without established playbooks.
  • Prior experience in technology, subscriptions, or partnerships is a plus.

We offer a competitive salary range for this position. Most candidates who join our team are hired at the median of this range, ensuring fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Contractor benefits are available through our 3rd Party Employer of Record (Available upon completion of waiting period for eligible engagements)

Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k.
