Strategy and Operations Analyst (100% Remote)

We are seeking a Strategy & Operations Analyst on a contract basis to help support our customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.

This role will be focused on projects that drive supply chain and cost efficiencies within the supplier network. Examples of focus areas for this role include inbound delivery management, optimizing the vendor delivery schedule through vendor outreach and data analysis, scoping a trusted receiving program, and leading supplier RFPs for new areas of the business. You will play a critical role in helping achieve high levels of efficiency across the business. You will work cross-functionally, partnering closely with vendor managers, supply chain and operations stakeholders, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze vendor inbound receiving data to drive scheduling decisions in partnership with local operations and vendors
• Scope a new Trusted Vendor Receiving program
• Design and manage a supplier RFP for a new business line

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree
• 5+ years of work experience
• Experience with data analysis including basic SQL
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Relevant experience in supply chain, vendor management, project management, cost analysis, consulting, etc.
• SQL experience – Mid-to-high level of experience preferred
• Experience owning brand relationships, manufacturer relationships, and/or vendor relationships
