Our Customer is seeking a Strategy and Operations Analyst on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote, but on-site in NYC is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and scale merchant loyalty program integrations to drive revenue and customer engagement
- Manage a portfolio of merchants and a pipeline of new partners from scoping through launch and optimization
- Lead growth initiatives, including loyalty enrollment expansion, redemption experience testing, and experimentation
- Coordinate technical and operational workstreams such as API integrations, middleware solutions, and enterprise launches
- Translate merchant and business needs into clear technical requirements for product and engineering teams
- Partner with sales, strategy, product, and engineering teams to align priorities and execution
- Manage project timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations across multiple initiatives
- Track and analyze performance metrics, including revenue, customer engagement, and retention
- Run experiments to measure incremental impact and optimize program performance
- Ensure consistent execution and delivery of high-priority initiatives during ownership transitions
- Identify process improvements to enhance scalability and operational efficiency
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-6+ years of experience in strategy and operations, business operations, product operations, consulting, or program management
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving product and engineering teams
- Strong program and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple complex workstreams
- Experience working with APIs, technical requirements, and engineering workflows
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking, performance analysis, and experimentation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence without authority
- Familiarity with tools such as Cursor, Claude Desktop, or similar AI-assisted platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience in the marketplace, e-commerce, or loyalty and rewards programs
- Experience managing external partners or enterprise stakeholders
- Experience supporting product launches, integrations, or experimentation initiatives
