Job description

Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.

We are seeking a Streaming Analyst on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is remote in New York City.

This role provides crucial insights into the performance of promotion to direct-to-consumer streaming apps. The Analyst will work with the manager and coordinator, as well as a broader insights team, and will be expected to analyze campaigns that leverage 1st and 3rd party data, maintain up-to-date tracking documents, provide feedback for campaign optimization, and build out and refine media plans for connecting with intended audiences. This role is critical to ensuring campaigns are optimized to drive business outcomes and requires a high level of precision, organization, and cross-functional collaboration.

We are seeking candidates with prior experience in interpreting data. This is not a creative or product development role, but rather one focused on leveraging analytics to inform media planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Support DTC strategy across acquisition and engagement campaigns, including execution, pacing, and performance tracking
  • Monitor campaign performance across linear and digital channels
  • Analyze campaign data and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Optimize streaming and digital campaigns using key performance metrics
  • Provide recommendations for the effective use of digital media assets
  • Develop and maintain performance reports and dashboards across platforms
  • Lead post-campaign analysis, delivering clear insights, key takeaways, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on A/B testing strategies and optimization approaches
  • Track, analyze, and report on owned and operated (O&O) campaigns
  • Support ad hoc analysis projects and urgent reporting requests

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, data science, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics or campaign analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with confidence working with numbers, projections, and data interpretation
  • Experience with campaign optimization and audience growth strategies
  • Ability to build reports, dashboards, and presentation decks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with media platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, or Nielsen tools
  • Experience with Tableau is a plus
  • Experience with broadcast log scheduling or media operations is a plus
