Job description
Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.
We are seeking a Streaming Media Coordinator on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The Media Coordinator, Streaming, handles the day-to-day planning and execution of all promotions to the direct-to-consumer streaming apps. This person will work with the Manager to set up, launch, and maintain all streaming campaigns and become an expert on in-stream execution, connecting operational tactics to the user experience, flagging potential technical or promotional issues as they arise. The Media Coordinator will also work with an analyst to ensure all campaign execution is optimized to drive business outcomes. This role is critical to the flawless execution of strategic media plans and requires a high level of precision, organization, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for campaign implementation across owned and operated media inventory
- Execute daily and weekly promotional priorities with accurate scheduling and on-time delivery
- Set up campaigns across linear and digital scheduling systems aligned with strategic goals
- Traffic digital video and display creative assets across media platforms
- Build and support custom audience targeting using analytics and data sources
- Resolve scheduling and discrepancy issues, including participation in on-call rotations as needed
- Collaborate with marketing, media logistics, agencies, and operations teams to ensure campaign success
- Troubleshoot technical and delivery issues across media platforms
- Support ad hoc tasks and projects as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in data-heavy roles
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with open and effective communication in cross-functional environments
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Strong passion for the media and entertainment industry
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in campaign execution
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with media platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, and Nielsen tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
Preferred:
- Experience with broadcast log scheduling and media operations
- Experience building custom audience targets
- Strong understanding of linear and digital media environments
- Experience working in television networks or media agencies
