We are seeking a Studio Coordinator on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is onsite in Santa Monica, CA.
What You'll Do:
- Operate a wide range of assignments and equipment within the studio.
- Operate cameras, recording equipment, lighting and recording process successfully and on the highest level, ensure equipment is prepared and ready for recording sessions.
- Perform the recording process, ensuring clarity in instructions and adherence to recording protocols and scripts.
- Prepare recorded material for further processing or distribution. Work with software and hardware if required.
- Ensure that the data collected meets the required standards for quality.
- Facilitate effective communication with team members and Manager to ensure smooth operations.
- Respond promptly to comments or questions in working chats and provide necessary updates.
- Liaise with casting agency coordinators and models, ensuring interactions are polite and friendly to maintain a comfortable recording environment.
- Maintain an updated internal documentation with relevant information on a daily basis.
- Write and maintain technical documentation related to studio operations.
- Prepare documentation as required for recording sessions and further workflow management.
- Proficient operating skills and ability to perform under strict timelines and fast changing conditions.
- Manage visitor registrations using the security system.
- Monitor studio inventory levels and notify relevant parties of any impending shortages.
- Proven experience in a video/photo production environment.
- Technical proficiency in operating video, and lighting equipment and recording process.
- Ability to solve any technical issues related to the recording process and provide solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in technical documentation writing.
- Flexibility to alter shifts/days off to accommodate projects and departmental objectives.
