We are looking for a Leverage Loan Trading SME on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in both primary and secondary market trading, loan closing and settlements, cash and reconciliation processes, and loan servicing. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can seamlessly navigate the complexities of leveraged loan operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end operations of leveraged loan trading, including primary and secondary market transactions.
- Own (investigate and resolve) backlog of aged trades and servicing-related breaks
- Coordinate the loan closing and settlement process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle cash management tasks, including reconciliation and processing of cash flows.
- Maintain accurate records of all loan transactions and perform regular audits for compliance and accuracy.
- Provide comprehensive loan servicing support, including responding to client inquiries, loan modifications, and managing covenant compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to resolve any operational issues promptly.
- Implement and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of operations experience
- Expertise in Leveraged/Syndicated loan trading and servicing operations
- Expertise in primary and secondary loan trading lifecycle activities and workflow (booking, matching, closing, settlements, post-close)
- Has performed in operations role(s) in trade and transaction processing, investigations, reconciliations, and coordination experience
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to review and resolve complex aged breaks through interrogation and reconstruction of trade and servicing transactions
- Expertise (as a functional user) of core platforms leveraged in the workflow: ClearPar, ACBS/LoanIQ/WSO, SyndTrak
