Job description

We are seeking a Supply Planner on a contract basis who will support the Customer’s business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Atlanta, GA.



Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the end-to-end supply chain for goods and services
  • Ensure required goods are imported or sourced locally to meet business demand
  • Create and manage purchase orders to maintain inventory levels
  • Coordinate documentation, authorizations, and administrative activities required for receiving goods
  • Partner with central procurement teams to ensure supplier and service contracts are in place
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to manage inventory, identify stock gaps, and resolve supply issues
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, warehouses, and cross-functional supply chain teams
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve costs, reduce lead times, and increase product availability
  • Partner with Sales and S&OP teams to develop and maintain accurate supply plans
  • Monitor supply plan performance, identify variances, and adjust plans as needed to meet business requirements
  • Generate reports and analyze supply chain data to support operational decision-making


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, supply planning, or inventory planning within a large organization or complex product environment
  • Hands-on experience using SAP (SAP P40 preferred)
  • Experience creating and managing purchase orders
  • Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers
  • Knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and supply planning processes
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Experience using Power BI for reporting and data analysis
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
