Job description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer - Google Workspace & Microsoft 365 Migration on a contract basis to support our customers’ business needs. This role is 100% remote in CST hours (8:00 am - 5:00 pm).



Responsibilities:

  • Support critical transition projects, including documentation of connections to Microsoft Exchange.
  • Assist with migrations and integrations across Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 ecosystems (mail, calendar, and collaboration tools).
  • Provide user support and training during transitions to new tools and platforms.
  • Monitor system performance and document issues, escalating as needed to senior engineers.
  • Collaborate with senior engineering staff on implementation and integration tasks.
  • Follow standard IT infrastructure processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform additional support tasks as directed by the project team or manager.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience supporting both Google Workspace and Microsoft platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, and Google Workspace migrations and integrations (must have).
  • Experience supporting 3,000–10,000 users.
  • Strong knowledge of mail, calendar, and collaboration tool integration.
  • Hands-on experience documenting integration processes and supporting platform migrations.
  • Proven success in providing training and user support for new tools and systems.
  • Solid understanding of project management practices, with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written communication skills for stakeholder updates and documentation.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Creative thinker with the ability to adapt to evolving requirements.
  • Experience working in environments undergoing platform transitions or consolidations.
  • Familiarity with additional collaboration platforms beyond Microsoft and Google ecosystems.
  • Scripting knowledge in GAM and PowerShell
  • Experience with third-party migration tools (e.g., BitType, Inquest)
