Job description

A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Talent Acquisition Coordinator to help support their business needs.


The ideal candidate brings a strong customer service mindset, a passion for providing superb candidate care, and a drive to continuously identify opportunities to improve and automate processes. In this role, you will partner closely with Talent Acquisition Partners, Hiring Managers, and Interview Teams to deliver a candidate-centric hiring experience, leveraging expert judgment and keen attention to detail to ensure a seamless process from start to finish.



Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage high-volume interview scheduling, ensuring accuracy and minimal disruptions
  • Proactively resolve calendar conflicts, reschedules, and last-minute changes across candidates and interview teams
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely, clear, and professional communication
  • Serve as a trusted partner to Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers throughout the hiring process
  • Respond to inquiries with urgency and accuracy, ensuring consistent communication across all stakeholders
  • Maintain and update candidate records in Workday and other systems with strong attention to data integrity
  • Manage candidate trackers and reporting using Excel and ATS dashboards
  • Monitor hiring workflows and proactively flag risks, delays, or issues, escalating when necessary
  • Ensure alignment across recruiting processes while maintaining organization in a fast-paced environment
  • Take full ownership of scheduling and coordination tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in Recruiting Coordination or Recruiting
  • Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook calendar management
  • Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP, filtering, sorting, data tracking)
  • Experience using an enterprise ATS, preferably Workday Recruiting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently with a process-driven and detail-oriented mindset
  • Detail-obsessed with a strong focus on accuracy and execution
  • Candidate-first mindset with professionalism, empathy, and follow-through
  • Ability to manage complexity and adapt quickly in dynamic hiring environments


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in Workday
  • Experience with interview scheduling tools such as Paradox, Ev-e, or similar AI-driven platforms
  • Experience with automated or semi-automated scheduling workflows


Hours and Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week
  • Hybrid in Warren, MI - In-office Tues, Wed, Thurs, 8 am-5 pm EST (Open to worker being local but working PST/CST), remote Mon/Fri
