Job description

Our Customer is an American financial services mutual organization based in Milwaukee. The financial security company provides consultation on wealth and asset income protection, education planning, retirement planning, investment advisory services, financial planning trust and private client services, estate planning and business planning. Its products include life insurance, permanent life insurance, disability income, and long-term care insurance; annuities; investments; and investment advisory products and services.


Our customer is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator on a contract basis to help support their business needs. This role is on-site in Milwaukee, WI.


Under the management of the HR Services Assistant Director, this position will provide high-quality coordination and customer service support to Recruiters, Hiring Managers, interview teams, candidates, and other internal and external partners. This role serves as a primary point of contact throughout the interview and selection process and represents the organization professionally in all candidate interactions, including in-person, by phone, and via email.



Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule non-executive level interviews in alignment with recruiting priorities and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Create a positive experience for all by following designated processes and using a variety of available tools such as Workday, Outlook, and Zoom.
  • Facilitate in-person interviews, including booking conference rooms, preparing interview materials, greeting candidates, and escorting them to the interview location, and providing refreshments. You may assist candidates with organizing travel arrangements for interviews, as needed
  • May coordinate the candidate assessment process, helping to ensure that the best person is selected for the role, every time
  • Build strong relationships with partners and regularly communicate process statuses and updates so that everyone involved feels knowledgeable and informed
  • Partners with others to support Operations needs, including but not limited to: system testing, defect tracking and resolution, knowledge sharing, vendor evaluation, within and outside the HR Services and Recruiting Teams.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous recruiting, HR, or administrative experience.
  • Demonstrated superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with others.
  • Proven ability to apply good judgment in making independent decisions and coordinating information.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently handle multiple priorities and changing deadlines.
  • Minimum of two years of previous recruiting or administrative experience.
  • Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to share responsibilities and interact harmoniously with co-workers and others from across the Company.
  • Proven understanding of Windows and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred. Applicant tracking system experience preferred.
