Job description

Our Customer is an American financial services mutual organization based in Milwaukee. The financial security company provides consultation on wealth and asset income protection, education planning, retirement planning, investment advisory services, financial planning trust and private client services, estate planning and business planning. Its products include life insurance, permanent life insurance, disability income, and long-term care insurance; annuities; investments; and investment advisory products and services.


Our customer is looking for a Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Early Careers) on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Milwaukee, WI.


The Early Careers Recruiter will manage the full-cycle recruitment process for internship and early career programs, ensuring a seamless candidate experience while collaborating with hiring managers to meet workforce goals. This role requires strong sourcing skills, relationship-building abilities, and a passion for identifying top emerging talent. The recruiter will also drive process improvements and explore new recruiting channels to strengthen candidate pipelines.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for internship and early career programs, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
  • Partner with client groups and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and goals
  • Drive early career recruiting programs and source top talent to build robust pipelines
  • Leverage various recruiting sources, including employee referral programs, college recruiting, social networking, and targeted job boards
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate data and ensure integrity within the ATS
  • Use competitive intelligence and industry knowledge to research and identify new recruiting channels
  • Contribute to process improvements that simplify recruiting workflows and improve outcomes


Skills and Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within high-growth or fast-paced environments
  • Strong understanding of technology and digital concepts (preferred)
  • Proven ability to identify and penetrate new recruiting channels through research and networking
  • Outstanding interviewing, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build relationships and act as a trusted partner to hiring managers and stakeholders
