Job description

Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.


We are seeking a Talent Strategy Data Analyst on a contract basis to support the Talent COE in managing and analyzing employee engagement data to provide insights that inform HR strategies and maintain a positive workplace culture. This role involves data entry, data trend identification, responding to ad hoc data requests, and ensuring data integrity. This role is 100% remote in EST working hours.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of employee engagement tools and resources.
  • Enter, maintain, validate, and ensure the accuracy of employee engagement data.
  • Analyze survey and assessment data to identify trends and potential risk areas.
  • Benchmark internal data against industry standards to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Respond to internal data requests from business partners and clients across various organizational levels.
  • Present data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders, supporting leadership in strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors on survey tools, analysis, or engagement strategies as needed.
  • Ensure overall data integrity and compliance with corporate and local personal data privacy regulations.
  • Conduct system audits and support ongoing process improvements.
  • Provide analytical support for employee engagement and performance management initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the broader talent strategy function.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong emphasis on HR analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to compile, analyze, and present data insights clearly and effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong ability to interpret data and uncover actionable insights.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and analytical tools preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate findings persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with strong project management skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
