Core Responsibilities
- Preparation of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
- Review and analysis of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Limited communication with clients to gather necessary information for return preparation and to explain tax laws and regulations (as needed).
- Limited assistance with firm administrative and operational processes.
Qualifications/Skills
- Active CPA or EA (current candidate for obtaining their either certification would be acceptable).
- 3-5 recent years of experience preparing federal individual, fiduciary and small business (Corporate; S-Corp; Partnerships) returns.
