Job description

We are seeking a Tax Consultant on a contract basis to help support our client’s day to day business needs. This role is a hybrid setup at our Customer's Bolingbrook, IL office.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with Accounting or Finance or other business major
  • Professional work experience required
    • 4+ years
    • Sales and use tax compliance – e-filing, data preparation, return preparation and reconciliation, request approvals and payments
    • Use tax review for self-assessment
    • Account reconciliation (a plus)
    • Tax research (a plus)
    • Licensing (a plus)
  • Must be a self starter and be able to execute against goals
  • Must be able to complete most work duties with little training
  • Must be able to communicate schedule
  • Flexibility in daily tasks and assignments assigned
  • Working knowledge of Excel (intermediate or advanced), Word & PowerPoint
    • Formulas include VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, SUMIF, COUNTIF
  • Working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx (a plus)
  • Retail industry a strong plus
    • Independently work with other team members in the organization
