Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Tax Return Reviewer to join our team and ensure the highest level of accuracy, compliance, and quality across all tax filings. This role focuses on reviewing tax returns for partnerships and LLCs, providing technical guidance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring that every return meets our firm’s high standards. The ideal candidate is a highly detail-oriented CPA with deep technical tax knowledge and a passion for excellence. All reviews will be conducted in PDF format.


What Your Day to Day Will Look Like

  • Review federal and state tax returns for partnerships and LLCS
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Identify potential tax issues, planning opportunities, and risk areas in returns.
  • Provide detailed review notes and collaborate with preparers to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate with clients and team members to clarify financial data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Research complex tax issues and document conclusions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing tax laws and industry standards.


What You Need to Succeed

  • CPA designation required (active license in good standing).
  • 15+ years of progressive tax experience, with substantial exposure to partnerships and LLCs
  • Deep technical understanding of federal and state tax codes and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to review tax returns with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
