Job description
The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a progressive Arizona-based CPA firm, located in the heart of the Southwest with a fully remote team! They are looking for a Tax Manager to join their tight-knit team of six and provide high-quality tax review and planning services to their nationwide client base. The ideal candidate is a working parent with an active CPA license, strong communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, a high level of self-responsibility, and a desire to grow with the company.
Core responsibilities
- Review S corporation and personal tax returns prepared by the team
- Meet with clients via Zoom to explain their returns and tax liabilities
- Provide proactive tax planning services to clients in the service provider and wealth management industries
- Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional client service and drive firm growth
- Transition to the Tax Director role within 3 years
Qualifications/Skills
- Active CPA license required (state not specified due to nationwide client base)
- 5-8 years of tax experience
- Corporate tax return experience preferred but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong people skills and ability to build lasting client relationships
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- High level of self-responsibility and motivation
- Proficiency with tax preparation software and Zoom
- Desire to progress to a leadership role
