We are seeking a Tax Operations Intern on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is hybrid in NYC.


For this position, the Co-Op Assignment can last until graduation, with the opportunity to work 15-20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and full-time during the summer and school breaks. Your specific work schedule may be tailored at the start of the program to your set academic obligations. The company is committed to providing a significant paid work experience to co-op students and fully expects a reciprocal professional commitment in all aspects of performance from program participants.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of non-income tax (sales and use, personal property, business licenses, and annual reports) compliance.
  • Preparing large Excel spreadsheets
  • Administrative and miscellaneous tasks (management of: notices, payment requests, signature requests, data entry, etc.)


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Applicants who are majoring in Accounting and Finance and can demonstrate an achieved GPA of 3.0. Enrollment in current or past tax courses and intention to pursue an M.S. Taxation degree are a plus. However, the program welcomes all college applicants who have demonstrated academic excellence and a strong interest in working in a tax department.
