*Hybrid will be post-training, which will require 100% onsite initially
Our client is a small Private Equity group executing a strategy to acquire several tax practices within the Southeast. Their first acquisition is a tax practice located in Houston, TX.
They are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join the practice in Houston.
Primary duties will include preparing tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
Other potential duties could include reviewing work done by other team members, providing customer service to existing clients, meeting with potential new clients, assisting with bookkeeping and payroll services as needed, team building with the office staff, and looking for areas of growth.
A CPA certification or EA certification would be a plus, however is not required.
If you are interested and planning to work toward your CPA or EA, that is excellent.
Hours are seasonally driven by tax season.

Flex-Factors: Flexibility for time off during off-season and hybrid schedule is possible but there will be an initial period when in office is required.
