Tax Reviewer (CPA or EA) – 2026 Tax Filing Season

We are a dynamic, woman-owned accounting firm seeking a highly qualified CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) to join our team for the 2026 tax filing season. We are looking for a motivated professional who enjoys tackling challenges, values accuracy, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Position Summary

The Tax Reviewer will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of business and individual tax returns while providing technical guidance and maintaining high-quality client service standards.

Qualifications

  • Active CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience preparing and reviewing:
    • Individual tax returns
    • Business tax returns
  • Required proficiency with Drake Tax Software
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges

Key Responsibilities

  • Review individual and business tax returns for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and potential issues
  • Provide technical feedback and guidance to tax preparers
  • Ensure timely completion of tax engagements
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding tax matters
  • Stay current on tax law changes and industry developments
